Churchill Downs Wants Bookie and More Gambling Options
Churchill Down, the owner of Rivers Casino Des Plaines, wants to add more gambling options in the casino. Also, it wants to have its own sportsbook. It wants to have one of the six casino licenses in Illinois.
Aside from Rivers Casino Des Plaines, the company also wants to have more gambling options at Arlington International Racecourse. Under the new Illinois law, casinos can add a maximum of 800 gaming positions. Pay per head bookie analysts said that the company plans to maximize its gaming positions.

However, the casino needs to expand the gaming floor to maximize its gaming positions. In addition, Rivers will pay $10 million for a sports betting license in 2020.
