Nagasaki hoped to host one of Japan’s integrated resorts. However, the Central Government rejected the integrated resort bid from Nagasaki. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism had concerns about the feasibility of the prefecture’s project.

According to gambling news reports, Nagasaki prefecture partnered with Kyushu Resorts Japan for the bid. They must reconsider their proposal or withdraw their bid altogether. Also, the funding mechanisms of the proposed projects have been a source of concern among government authorities.
